Chief of staff in Governor kawira Mwangaza's office, has come out in limelight during the senate hearing of the impeachment motion at senate Chambers to defend the governor.
He says that the MCAs confuses the Governor's personal workers thinking that may be, they are being paid by government money, but those are governor kawira Mwangaza's own businesses not attached to her government work.
Mr Gitonga when asked about who appointed Murega Baichu who is also governor kawira's husband as cultural ambassador of Meru County, he said that he can't remember who appointed the first gentleman.
This caused a stir in the senate during the hearing, senetors asking themselves how can someone working in the Governor's office, can't know what is happening in the same office he is working.
Today is the last day of the hearing of accusations petitioned by MCAs seeking governor kawira Mwangaza's impeachment as a governor of Meru County.
