The Kenya Scouts Association, or KSA, will soon be under the patronage of President William Ruto, who will succeed Former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The Declaration of Commencement of Patronage Transfer from former President Uhuru Kenyatta to the current Head of State, President William Ruto, will be formally approved at the Kenya Scouts Annual General Meeting, which is currently taking place at the Rowland National Scouts Camp Grounds in Nairobi.
Chief Scout Professor Jacob Kaimenyi is in charge of the event, which has attracted delegates from six of the 47 counties represented by officials.
It has been revealed that the event will welcome 5,000 scouts and 3000 guests from all over the world.
Kaimenyi said during the handover that they will be fortunate to have a fatherly patron.
Prof. Kaimenyi stated, "Our patron is none other than President Ruto, and we are very privileged and honored to have a very fatherly patron now that there has been a change of guard."
