Azimio Leader Raila Odinga have now given President William Ruto a Seven-Day Ultimatum to disapprove Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's "shareholders" remarks, revealing that the Azimio wing may be forced to seek for the permission to form their own government if the period elapse.
Speaking during Wiper Democratic party's Prayer meeting held at Yatta Farm, Machakos County today, Raila said that the President must come out clearly on the matter within seven days, revealing that they will be forced to write a letter to the United Nations if the deadline elapse.
Raila said that Gachagua have been very clear that Kenya has a shareholders, revealing that if Ruto will not come out to distance himself from the remarks within seven days, then the Azimio wing will right to the United Nations to demand for self determination (which means forming own government).
"Kama naibu wako ndio anasema yeye ndio anagawa shares na umenyamaza. Tunapatia wewe wiki Moja. Kama hautakanusha maneno hayo, tutaandikia Umoja wa Mataifa kuwa tunataka self determination (If your Deputy is the one making the remarks that he is dividing the shares and you are just keeping quiet. We are giving you one week. If you will not come out to disapprove the remarks then we will write to the United Nations that we want self determination)," Raila Odinga said.
