Ruto examining a guard in Ethiopia
Just a few hours after serving as the host of a significant event in the west, President of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto quietly left the country and met with his Ethiopian counterparts to address issues of vital importance to the two nations.
In a late-night tweet that he uploaded on his social media platforms, President William Ruto claimed that he had already arrived in Asmara, where he had been welcomed by the head of state and had seen a guard of honor.
The visit today is anticipated to strengthen Kenya's foreign policy and its trade links with Ethiopia, which have increased recently as a result of the two countries' friendly and productive working relationship.
Ruto has made hints that the relationship is improving with Ethiopia, a close ally of Kenya, and he pledged to keep up the commerce.
