Final Results Announcement Are Closer As Only 73 Polling Stations Have Not Submitted Form 34A

As of Thursday at 12:30 p.m., the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) reported receiving 99.84% of Forms 34A.

While providing an update on the commissions, Wafula Chebukati, the chairman of the IEBC, stated that the figure indicates that a total of 46,156 polling stations had turned in their forms out of a total of 46,229. He guaranteed that the procedure was still proceeding and that, by day's end, the public would receive a report on its progress.

Results were first reported by Webuye East Constituency Returning Officer Emmanuel Onyango, and more officers are anticipated to arrive at the center today.

The Commission must ensure that the numbers on the physical forms correspond to those sent in digital form to the public portal run by the electoral body.According to the IEBC, it will take each returning officer roughly 40 minutes to be approved, with the goal of completing the compilation by Friday night.
