The former prime minister Raila Odinga now has all the reasons to smile after he received alot of plummy and lucrative things from his friends. The friends who were majorly business tycoons gifted him with different items to ensure that his bid to the presidency is not cut short because of financial constraints.
All of this materials were given to him out of good heart without demanding any pay. Among the items he received for the preparation of the elections included;
1. Campaign Vehicles
Raila Odinga received a handful of 6 fully customised campaign vehicles to ensure that comfortably access all the parts of this nation with ease during campaigns. These vehicles were all from a Mombasa based business man who is a true friend of Raila.
David Njuguna, a senior business man managed to acquire three airplanes during an auction conducted by the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) and offered one to Raila for his campaigns without demanding any cent.
"The cargo one is for business, the jet one is going to be for personal use, and the other one we are going to support Baba (Raila) in his campaigns, we are going to donate one to ODM," David Njuguna said.
3. Range Rover
Media reports also revealed that Raila had received a range rover gift from a business mogul based in Dubai, whose identity was concealed.
