ODM Coastal Leaders have vowed to remain under the Orange democratic movement party after latest pressure from Kenya Kwanza Coalition to defect.
According to ODM elected leaders they will continue to stick to the part ideologies despite all the pressure to dump Raila Odinga for William Ruto.
Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Shariff said they will continue to be loyal to the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga but he will work with the government of the day to deliver his promises to Mombasa residents.
President William Ruto is working tirelessly to capture Coastal region after he defeated Raila Odinga during the August 9 presidential election. At the other hand ODM leader Raila Odinga is doing everything possible to make sure that his stronghold still remain with him ahead of 2027.
"We are in ODM to stay" the party's ideologies are very clear, but that does not mean we cannot work with the government because we will be judged by what we do for our people" said Changamwe MP Omar Mwingi.
It's now a matter of wait and see what happens in the coming months if they will still stick to ODM party or not.
