Amid the heated political turmoil in preparation for the August presidential race, top politicians seem to be regrouping in efforts to clinch the power with any possible means. Well, NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua whose declaration has kept Kenyans waiting finally broke her silence in regards to the decision. Karua has now revealed ongoing consultations with her party members who are reportedly expected to issue her with the way forward.
Speaking on the sidelines of a meeting in Laikipia West today, Karua said she was open to the idea of partnering to any like minded parties and never hinted a specified trajectory whatsoever.
"The decision must lie with the people even if I think which side I want to gravitate to." Karua stated.
On the other hand, Karua further called on Mount Kenya leaders to unite the region and asked them to shun divisive politics. As she concluded, the iron lady also revealed that she would be holding town hall meetings across the country in a bid to popularize her party.
