Mathira Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua and a close ally to Deputy President William Ruto has delivered bad news to Jubilee Party officials disclosing when DP Ruto and allies are planning to bolt out of the Jubilee Party.
In a report via the Standard, MP Gachagua has responded to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) call that "all parties must submit their membership list and names for nomination candidates by April 9, 2022" revealing their plans.
According to Gachagua, he has said that they are soon going to lead a mass walkout in the Jubilee Party probably in December and January including Deputy President William Ruto who is likely to resign.
The Mathira Legislator has pointed out that even though they are in Jubilee, their souls are in UDA extending that the United Democratic Alliance is the party DP Ruto and allies will use to form the next government.
Rigathi Gachagua has informed that they are not afraid of leaving Jubilee Party since at the time they will all be exiting President Uhuru will have no say since he will be supporting the opposition.
"We will begin our mass walkout of Jubilee in December and January. No one in Jubilee will purport to discipline anyone when you have the party leader supporting the opposition. Technically we are in Jubilee but our souls, including that of Ruto, are in UDA," Mathira MP has said.
