Mama Ngina's Message To Kenyans As His Son, Uhuru Kenyatta Exits State House

Kenya's former first lady, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, has today sent a message to the Kenyans underscoring the importance of participating in the democratic process of electing leaders.

Mama Ngina Kenyatta was speaking at the Mutomo Primary School polling station in Ichaweri, Gatundu South constituency in Kiambu county after casting her ballot.

Addressing the media today, Tuesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta's mother reiterated the importance of voting, arguing that it grants Kenyans an equal playing ground in determining the country's leadership in the coming five years.

She added that voting is the only way to fix the Country's leadership adding that when legitimate voters turn up and vote, then they vest powers to the right people who should be leading the Nation in the next five years.

"It is important for everyone to understand the importance of voting," Mama Ngina advised.
