Amason Kingi Bitterly Hits Back at Raila Odinga after His Kilifi Remarks, Says He Has Betrayed Them

Orange Democratic Party leader and the Azimio la Umoja flag bearer Raila Odinga will today be finalizing his four-day tour at the coastal region, after allegedly flying there on Tuesday.

The four time presidential candidate will today be accompanied by the coastal region leaders who are backing his presidential bid led by Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho at the Tononoka grounds where he will be addressing residents.

After his successful tour at Tana River, Kwale and Kilifi counties, the former Prime minister told off Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi after he dumped his Azimio la Umoja coalition to join the deputy president’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Raila allegedly said that Kingi was in his way out of the coalition even before he announced and therefore advised residents to punish him and elect ODM Candidates in the region.

Kingi however, out of frustrations has hitted back at Mr Odinga, saying that he has betrayed the coastal region. Kingi added that Raila only visits Coastal region when he is in need of votes but after elections he forget them.
