This was after Kanu party MP and Baringo County Woman Representive Gladys Tungo threw Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga under the bus and drummed up support for UDA candidate William Ruto.
Speaking in Baringo on Wednesday, the woman MP who is seeking re-election on Kanu party ticket, said Baringo is going to vote for their own son and that nobody will debate about that.
She however, urged residents to consider voting for other aspirants irrespective of their political parties apart from the presidency.
"Let us love our own. At the top, we have to vote for our son, that is our own and we cannot debate about that. When we come to these other seats down here from the Senator, Governor, MPs down to MCAs, vote for your favourites.
There are those in Independent tickets, UDA, Kanu and in other areas CCM. Vote for those who will help you. Don't be convinced otherwise" stated Tungo.
Tungo becomes the second candidate in Azimio la Umoja camo to drum up support for Ruto after Narok county gubernatorial aspirant on ODM ticket Richard Moitalel Ole Kenta.
The Kanu MP will be facing off with UDA party candidate Florence Jemutai for the Woman Representative seat.
