For a long period of time, the president of the republic of Kenya, hon Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta has been appearing to be supporting Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja. It all started after the 2018 handshake where since then, he has been a good friend to the ODM boss, hon Raila Odinga whom he has endorsed as his preffered presidential candidate.
Now, today, Mr Odinga and the entire Azimio La Umoja have suffered a huge blow. This came in after details leaked on what president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is telling his Kikuyu leaders about Dp Ruto's Kenya Kwanza movement ahead of the coming general elections. As seen from one video that has been shared online, the ANC party leader, hon Musalia Mudavadi has said that president Uhuru Kenyatta is now telling his Kikuyu leaders to join Kenya Kwanza. According to Mudavadi who was talking in the coastal region, president Uhuru Kenyatta is urging these leaders to join Kenya Kwanza because he knows which camp will form the next goverment.
This will be a blow to Raila Odinga and his team because if these claims are true, then it is very clear that Uhuru Kenyatta is not with them. Click on this link to watch the video.
