Ghana has made headlines again after becoming the first country in Africa to embrace Kitenge as part of school uniform. This latest move have excited most Africans across the continent.
This latest move is significant in ensuring that Africans embrace their own. For years now Africans have been made to embrace the Western culture as part of their uniform.
Many Kenyans who reacted on the photos asked the ministry of Education to emulate the new trend which is already shaking the Internet's.
Kitenge whose origin is Africa has for the longest period of time been embraced by many Western countries. In Kenya the government is committed in ensuring that Friday is an African day where Kenyans get to dress in African attire.
