Aisha Jumwa is a recent Member of the Parliament of Malindi. Jumwa was the former Kilifi county Woman Representative. She is known in the country as she is among the vocal leaders when it comes to politics.

She is educated. She finished her Bachelor's degree in commerce from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology(JKUAT).
She established the Aisha Jumwa organization that assists women, youth and individuals living with disabilities.
At some point, the Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) leader Raila Odinga equated her to Mekatillili Wa Menza. It should be noted that Menza was a distinguished sovereignty fighter because of her courageous personality.
