Former Secretary General of United Nations Conference of Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Dr Mukhisa Kituyi.
The former Secretary General of United Nations Conference of Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Dr Mukhisa Kituyi, who is currently aspiring to the next president of the republic of Kenya, has dismissed the possibilities of him working with Deputy President William Ruto, ahead of 2022 general elections.
In a statement shared through his social media handle accounts, Dr Mukhisa has rejected the the possibility of him joining Ruto's camp or even support or endorse him for presidency ahead of 2022 polls.
He said that instead of joining Ruto, he would rather work with the newly formed political alliance (One Kenya Alliance), which includes the Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper Democratic party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Kenya African National Union (KANU) leader Gedion Moi and FORD Kenya leader Moses Wetangula.
Dr Mukhisa is aspiring for presidential seat to succeed the President Uhuru Kenyatta, but he knows very well that he cannot go alone and win, therefore he is seeking to form a political coalition with other leaders whom he thinks they have like minded opinions. He is therefore probably going to work with One Kenya Alliance and not Deputy President William Ruto.
