UDA delegates meeting at William Ruto's residence was a turning point for Bomet politics. DP Ruto sent a strong message to his newly made friend Isaac Ruto that is believed will bring back the animosity between them. DP Ruto said he was not agreeing with those from different parties and claimed to support him.
"One cannot purport to support you and are adamant about dissolving their parties. That's impossible," DP Ruto said.
The message has sent cold feet to CCM camp who feel like DO Ruto are pushing them into a corner. Their party leader Isaac Ruto has been cross-crossing his county asking his supporters to vote for the DP. The pronouncement overnight changed the charged Bomet politics. Isaac is now in the dilemma of dissolving his party or daring the second in command.
Taking to social media, CCM die-hard dismissed William Ruto's sentiments saying they'd vote for Isaac Ruto no matter the party.
"Bomet county gubernatorial seat is a done deal. The people are ready to vote for Isaac Ruto even if he vies via KADU. Those who are warning for endorsement from some quarters will be in for a rude shock," the CCM aspirant posted.
