The August General Elections is here with us with millions of Kenyans lining up to vote for their favorite candidates across the country braving the morning cold and chills.
The various aspirants have also voted with Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga yet to vote at his station in Kibra as per the reports that we have at the moment.
The Kenyans are being identified by the KIEMS Kits which are electronic in the various polling stations across the country with the manual register also available for those that cannot be totally identified.
The Kenya Kwanza Alliance leader Deputy President William Ruto voted this morning in his home Constituency where he came very early to do the exercise.
The Agano Party Presidential Aspirant has also voted this morning at Upper Hill School in Nairobi County as per the reports that we have.
The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance running mate Martha Karua has voted in her home county of Kirinyaga very early this morning.
As per the reports that we have this morning from Nation Media, Rigathi Gachagua has also cast his vote in Mathira Constituency together with his wife earlier on.
The Kenya Kwanza Alliance running mate was not able to be identified by the KIEMS Kit and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission officials had to report to the manual register to get his details.
He has, however, voted and the process is going on smoothly at the polling station in Mathira Constituency this morning.
The United Democratic Alliance had taken the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to court to abolish the use of the manual registers at the polling stations.
