Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Political Party and its Presidential Candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga, have raised fresh allegations over fresh move by their opponents to rig the forthcoming presidential elections in their favour.
The Azimio faction has alledged that Bungoma senator Moses Masika Wetangula has deliberately conspired with the Greek firm that won the tender of printing ballot papers ahead of August ninth to engage in some fishy acts ahead of the poll day.
The Raila-led camp is reading malice and has written to investigative agencies like DCI and EACC to dig deep into the matter to unearth any fishy act and trick that may be on the way by certain political quarters.
But wading into this matter, Garissa Township MP and Deputy President William Samoei Ruto's key ally, Aden Bare Duale, has observed that the Azimio formation has just sensed defeat and is merely preparing the grounds to reject poll results after August ninth.
Both Ruto and Raila are highly optimistic of emerging victorious come August ninth and this race pitting them is one of its kind. Latest opinion polls have equally been displaying contradicting results on the actual popularity of the duo as Kenya continues to stride towards the poll day.
Duale was speaking on Wednesday during Kenya Kwańza's rally in Marsabit county alongside their presidential candidate, William Ruto.
