Betrayal Looming In Ruto's Camp As Leaders Collide Over Running Mate Position

Earlier today, Garissa township member of parliament Aden Duale, through the Sunday nation, hit at Moses Kuria and Mwangi Kiunjuri over claims that they were interested in positions in Ruto's administration over the welfare of the people. Moses Kuria reiterated by stating that he already made it clear that he has no interest in being Ruto's running mate. He added that he is only interested in the welfare of Mt. Kenya people.

Ruto had previously directed his allies to dissolve their parties and join United Democratic Alliance from which they will contest for various positions in government. However, Mt. Kenya leaders refused and stated that they will form a common party from which they will form a coalition with a leader who will meet their demands. They said that this is to protect their interests because most leaders cannot be trusted with power.

Duale had also hinted that Ruto may betray his allies when he gets into power, something that has been done with proceeding leaders. He added that the deputy president is just like president Uhuru who betrayed them after getting what he wanted.
