Miguna Questions Government's Stand on Torture After Alleging Millions Spent By During Uhuru's Reign

Miguna having decried of injustice done to him by several leaders during the Uhuru tenure, the exiled lawyer went ahead and sued them. Among the leaders sued include CS Fred Matiangi, CS Karanja Kibicho, Attorney General Kihara Kariuki and Solicitor General Kennedy Ogeto.

While the case filed against them was still in court, Miguna reveals that the four have already spent millions of public money to hire two Toronto-based law firms. The firms are to represent them (the four leaders) in the case filed by Miguna. Miguna however questions the fact that the four leaders were able to spend millions which is a waste of public resources. The lawyer therefore questions whoever authorised the irregular expenditure and whether the government of Kenya is defending torture.

Miguna Miguna: Fred Okengo Matiang'i, @Karanjakibicho, Kihara Kariuki and Kennedy Ogeto have used millions of public money and hired 2 Toronto-based law firms to represent them in the case I filed. Who authorized this IRREGULAR expenditure of public resources? Is GoK DEFENDING TORTURE?
