Gachagua Confirms He Won't Be Ruto's Running Mate, Declares The Seat He Will Be Going For In 2022

Mathira constituency member of parliament Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, a close ally of deputy president William Ruto has opted out of potential running mate candidates.

According to Gachagua, he will be defending his Mathira parliamentary seat on the United Democratic Alliance party ticket in 2022. Gachagua revealed that he has been on the ground and the whole region is for UDA and that is why he will use the party in 2022.

He Promised to support all UDA candidates in the forthcoming general elections including the presidential candidate which will obviously will be William Ruto.

Gachagua's declaration come amid Speculations that he was among the politicians deputy president William Ruto would consider picking as his running mate to face off with Raila and other presidential hopefuls.

Gachagua is among the few Mount Kenya politicians who have declared that they are in the United Democratic Alliance party to stay despite opposition from other politicians who are championing for the unity of the region. Watch:
