Kiambaa, a Member of Parliament, has described how his life has been full of ups and downs. In an interview with K47 TV, the popular member of parliament said that he had to fake it in order to succeed in life.

He said that he was brought up by a single mother with his three siblings. His family depended on the income from coffee picking at the farm. The MP lamented that the chemicals involved in this kind of farming must have been the cause of his mother's death, either directly or indirectly.

He said that when he got into politics, he was campaigning for Koinange in 2017. Koinange dumped him a few months after being voted in. Kawanjiku went back into business, pretending to be a popular businessman to earn legitimacy from customers.
He got back into politics in 2022 after buying two vans for campaigning, and he finally won the August elections. He maintained that faking it means not exposing all your goals to everyone.
