GSU Officers manning the DP Ruto's premises at his residence at Karen were replaced by the Administration Police Officers on Wednesday August 25. The GSU were ordered to vacate the premises by 2PM and the AP Officers have already been availed at Ruto's place in Karen.
Oscar Sudi reacting over the same has stabbed the president and the CS for internal affairs Dr Fred Matiang'i for their act of denying Ruto his freedom for security as the deputy president.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta is a very petty President but CS Matiang’i is the pettiest of all. The duo have just ordered withdrawal of all security officers manning Sugoi, Elgon View home, Karen Residence and all other premises linked to DP Ruto. Ujinga mtupu!” Sudi stated.
Sakaja on the same note wrote through his Facebook page claiming that the act is against the law.
"Withdrawing the GSU from protecting the deputy president of the republic of Kenya is unlawful, unnecessary and reckless. The law clearly provides for this, why stir, discord?... leave politics to politicians", he noted.
