The IEBC has banned Wiper party and Ukambani leader Kalonzo Musyoka out of the August 2022 presidential elections, according to recent reports on the airwaves.
According to CitizenTVKe, Kalonzo is one of more than 40 leaders who did not advance to the final round of 16.
Kalonzo Musyoka's friends sent papers to the IEBC offices for final inspections a few days ago.
However, the reason why the wiper party's leader was left out of the contest is yet unknown.
Deputy President William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance, Raila Odinga of Azimio, Wajakhoya, Jimmy Wanjigi, and Mwangi wa Iria are among the politicians who have advanced to the final round.
The IEBC will conduct a last round of eliminations for the surviving candidates before the elections on August 9th.
All attention will now be on wiper party chairman Kalonzo Musyoka, who has been said to be returning to Azimio. Share your views.
