USA Sends Massage To Rwanda, Tell Them To Do This About The M23 Rebels

The US has communicated with the republic of Rwanda, instructing them on how to handle the conflict in the Congo where the M23 rebels have been terrorizing the populace for many years. Since the majority of the rebels are at their border with Congo, one of the nations that has been directly impacted by the war is Rwanda. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has disclosed that he spoke with Rwandan President Paul Kagame over the phone on Monday to discuss the peace in Congo. According to Blinken, the US wants Rwanda to uphold the Luanda agreement, which was reached a while ago. They must stop supporting the M23 rebels as part of this.

"I had a fruitful discussion with Rwandan President @PaulKagame to stress the importance of stability and security in the eastern DRC. The United States calls on Rwanda to keep its end of the bargain made in Luanda, including ceasing its support for M23." US Secretary of State made this statement in a tweet. The Rwandan government has on many occasions been accused of financing the M23 rebels and in return they get the minerals mined in Congo though the Rwandan government has never accepted this.
