We are counting some months to the much awaited 2022 general elections and we have started witnessing political activities gaining momentum. Presidential hopefuls have been racing against time in efforts to interact with the electorate more so because President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to retire next year after serving two terms in office.
Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has been making trips around the country and interacting with the people. Today, he was not on the road but he rather met with his supporters at his official residence in Karen. Ruto engaged with more than 3,000 members of the Wamama na Hustler, a group whose agenda is to promote Bottom-Up economic model across the country.
Here are some of the leaders that were present: Governor Anne Waiguru (Kirinyaga), Jayne Kihara (Naivasha), George Theuri (Embakasi West), Nixon Korir (Lang'ata), Patrick Wainaina (Thika Town), Benjamin Gathiru (Embakasi Central), James Gakuya (Embakasi North), Simon Mbugua (EALA), Nelson Havi (LSK President) and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru (Former Starehe MP).
