Mukhisa Kituyi is one of the politicians eyeing the seat come 2022 among others like Raila, Ruto, Kalonzo,Jimmy Wanjigi Musalia Mudavadi and Mwangi wa Iria. Currently, his name in the presedential bid has not been severally mentioned maybe because his campaigning is as not as intense as others.

Bearing in mind that, the former Secretary General of UNCTAD hasn't unveiled his possible running mates, then Marta Karua who is his close friend could best suit the position. The two seem to be close to each other hence it will be a good consideration.

Martha Karua was contesting for the presedential bid in 2013. Though she didn't make it to StateHouse, she one negotiator who doesn't blink.

Karua has been in politics for over 8 years and knows how to play the political cards well. Bearing in mind that she boldely talks about things affecting the country especially the common Mwananchi. For example, after the Pandora Papers exposure she condemned the president for stashing money abroad knowingly that it undermines the country's economic growth.

Also, Karua has the qualities that most leaders lack in the country. Among them( Qualities) includes; Standing with her ideologies to the extent that she isn't swayed easily by threats or money from above making best fit for deputizing Kituyi.

Karua also knows how well to marshal numbers to a cerrain direction in a free and fair general elections and now that The Mount Region lacks a proper successor after Uhuru, then they can easily rally behind her if she show them the direction.

As Uhuru's term is coming to an end, Mukhisa needs to put into consideration Martha Karua before she is 'taken' by any other political party.
