This question has been answered by the latest Mizani Africa opinion poll days ahead of the August elections, according to the survey results shows hon Wamatinga gained a percentage of 40.9% while his main competitor Hon Nyakobi gained percentage of 31.1%.
Eng. Wamatinga who has gained high support from United Democratic Alliance party and the preferred deputy presidential candidate Hon Rigathi Gachagua. It is believed that Wamatinga is the most preferred candidate in the region and he will succeed hon maina.
