Kalonzo, Gideon, Mudavadi and Wetangula Applaud the Senate for Impeaching Wajir Governor

The one Kenya alliance comprising of Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, Gideon Moi, and Moses Wetangula met today to receive a report by a technical committee on the formalizing of the alliance.

The principals applauded the Senate, for impeaching the Wajir governor, terming it a bold step towards the fight against corruption and impunity in the counties. Following the Senate's approval of Mohamed Abdi Mohamud's impeachment, Mr Ahmed Ali Muktar was sworn in as the third governor of Wajir County early Tuesday. The Wajir County headquarters hosted the swearing-in ceremony.Among issues discussed by the principals include the High court ruling on the BBI. The four politicians voiced their displeasure with the decision. They warned Kenyans, however, to be patient and wait for the appeal process to complete.

To further alleviate the Corona Virus crisis, the principals have asked the ministry of health to increase mass monitoring and vaccination.

On the floods that have swept parts of the country, the principals have urged the government to take steps to alleviate the situation.
