Dp William Ruto is the current deputy president of Kenya and is the second in command. He is currently serving his second term after coming to power in 2013 under the Jubilee government. He currently has ambitions of succeeding president Uhuru Kenyatta as the next president come August of next year.
The DP has been conducting a number of political tours in the country as he sells his bottom up economy approach and he tries to mobilize the youth to vote him as their next president.
The DP came from a humble back ground and has a number of brothers. David Ruto, one of DP Ruto's brothers, once narrated how they used to go to school bear footed and how life was rough back then. The second in command has a brother who leads a humble life in the village.
Paul Ruto who is the elder brother to the deputy president seems to live in poverty even as his brother enjoys a flamboyant lifestyle and lives in opulence. He does a number of odd jobs around Eldoret despite his brother owning billions of shillings.
