DP Ruto or Raila? Latest Opinion Poll Reveals Who Is Leading The Presidential Race

According to the most recent poll, which was conducted between July 5 and 7, Deputy President William Ruto is more popular than his closest rival, Raila, by a margin of 49.9 percent.

According to the report by Intel Research Solutions, Odinga earned a rating of 42.5 percent with 3.7 of those asked being uncertain. George Wajackoyah, candidate for president from the Roots Party, received 2.8% of the vote, while David Mwaure, candidate for president from the Agano Party, received 1.2%.

This interesting turn of events occurs just days after multiple surveys in Kenya claimed that Raila Odinga was ahead of his opponent, vice president William Ruto. Still, this survey suggests that Kenyans will need to vote again since Ruto will fall short of the 50%+1 threshold.

However, people on both sides of the political spectrum have been saying that the polling organizations they use are biased and that some of them are even being paid to favor certain candidates. According to Ruto, he is giving her close to 60% of the vote for intellect.

Raila, on the other hand, claims victory over William Ruto, the vice president. The competition to be elected in the general election scheduled for August 2022 is heating up, therefore candidates have been campaigning in all 42 counties.

But the presidential race is down to Dp. Ruto and Raila Odinga. Odinga has a minor advantage after former president Uhuru Kenyatta vowed to support him as his preferred successor in the August 9 polls.

President Uhuru Kenyatta currently serves as the Azimio Oka alliance's chairperson. After the president's public endorsement of Raila Odinga, many have been calling for him to be made a state project.

On the other hand, Ruto is working tirelessly with his Kenya Kwanza friends, Musalia, Wetangula, Kingi, and Kuria, among others, to win over additional voters before the election.
