"Ruto Akishindwa Sisi Tutaenda Nyumbani, Hamtasikia Kelele" Oscar Sudi Tells Azimio Supporters

In his reaction to Raila Odinga's call on IEBC to make sure that every polling station has a manual voter register come August 9th, the Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has preached peace and called on Azimio La Umoja-OKA coalition leadership to keep calm and allow the polls to be peacefully conducted.

Sudi who was also reacting to claims from some Azimio individuals that there's a plan to rig the forthcoming elections has dismissed such allegations and called on the Azimio leadership to stop inciting Kenyans and their people even before the election day.

Speaking from his Kapseret home in the morning of today on July 7th 2022, the outspoken legislator said that the DP's Kenya Kwanza team believes that IEBC has the capacity to give us a free, fair and credible election and that's why they (Kenya Kwanza) will accept whatever outcome of that election.

That "William Ruto akishindwa sisi tutaenda nyumbani. Hamtasikia kelele, tutaenda nyumbani tuwangoje siku nyingine (If William Ruto loses, we will peacefully go home. You won't hear us make any noise but rather will go home and wait for another day to face you)."

He however told Azimio supporters to also be prepared to accept any outcome even that which may disappoint them because an election must have a winner and a loser.

That no one should be used to cause havoc in the country should a politician fail to realize his or her ambitions in the aftermath of the election.

"I want to tell Azimio-OKA coalition leadership that you should also be psychologically prepared that in case we defeat you, you will go home and wait for us for another day. We will serve you like other Kenyans.

To Azimio supporters, message is that historically, whenever this country went down as a result of elections, it's mainly people from Nyanza that have been suffering.

So please dear people of Nyanza, don't accept to be used again. Piga kura, kura isipojaa enda nyumbani usitumike kwenda kurusha mawe (Go and vote and if those aren't enough, just go home and don't be used to throw stones at anybody," he said.

In that media briefing, Oscar Sudi also blasted the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for failing to seek justice for his people that suffered as a result of post-election skirmishes.

That Raila should've at least seen into it that families that lost their loved ones as a result of post-election skirmishes especially from Nyanza are compensated but he failed to do so even when in handshake.
