Sabina Chege is a Kenyan female politician from the politically important Mt Kenya Region. She is one among the Mt Kenya Region MPs who remained faithful to retiring President Uhuru Kenyatta. She is the current Murang'a County Woman Representative, having been elected during Kenya's closely contested 2017 general elections on the ticket of the winning Jubilee Coalition party. Hon Sabina Chege may run for the Murang'a County gubernatorial seat in Kenya's fourth general election, which will be place next year, but she has yet to officially declare.
Hon Sabina Chege has decided to endorse the presidential campaign of Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga. She has been on the front lines of the campaign for Hon Raila Amolo Odinga in the high-vote-counting Mt Kenya Region. Hon Raila, according to Hon Sabina Chege, should be treated like gold and a gem.
She claims that if it hadn't been for the handshake, we would not have seen the growth that is taking place throughout the country, particularly in the vote-rich Mt Kenya Region.
