Check What Wambugu Told Nyeri Residents After They Called DP Ruto A Thief

Wambugu Ngunjiri welcomed Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga in his constituency along other leaders. While addressing the people of Nyeri, Wambugu was surprised when the residents angrily called Deputy President William Ruto a thief.

In his speech, Wambugu took the chance to defend himself that he was not the alligator of Nyeri people calling Ruto a thief.

"I have not called the deputy president William Samoei Ruto a thief. When you meet him don't mention me. I am a leader who loves peace, Justice and unity. But the truth must be told," Wambugu said in his defense in Swahili.

Raila Odinga Today Saturday, November 27 finished his two days tour in Nyeri. His rival, UDA leader William Ruto on the other hand was in Kwale County where he met with the residents.
