Mount Kenya region politics is currently the talk of the Town. Orange democratic party leader Hounerable Raila Odinga was accorded a heroic reception while touring Meru county, Tharaka Nithi and Embu County. Accompanied with governors from those counties, it was agood sign ahead of 2022 general election. An indication that, he might finally get some good votes from the region that may finally fix his statehouse dream puzzle
Well, there is headache on who should deputise Odinga come 2022 in Mount Kenya. Just few days ago, Morang'a people Endorsed Peter Kenneth as their Preferred Candidate to be Raila's running mate. Mount Kenya East have now sent in their demands too. According to the party related to Kiraitu Murungi, they have endorsed Laikipia County governor, Hounerable Mureithi for the second in command seat. They're claiming that, after winning the governor position on an independent ticket, he has an upper hand on in the region Politics.
This is an indication that Raila will have hard time choosing who to deputize him come 2022. This will either make it break his presidential Ambition. Well, let's wait and see how things will play out soon.
