The gubernatorial race in Kirinyaga is getting more and more stuff especially with the continuing tallying. Purity Wangui Ngirici who is an independent gubernatorial aspirant in Kirinyaga, has demanded that the votes of Kianyaga Boys' High School should be recounted. She clearly stated that it was her right to demand the recounting of votes if she was not satisfied with the results.
Her complaint comes hours after Anne Waiguru who is her strong competitor also complained of alleged rigging of votes. It is not clear yet if her request will be granted. Time will surely tell. Well, at the end of it all, we hope to have a winner and peace in the region when the results are announced. Whoever will win the race, congratulations to them.
