The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) which is under the patronage of Deputy President William Ruto has today announced a postponement of one of it's major meeting that was going to be held on 26th October, 2021.
The meeting was to comprise leaders drawn from Kericho, Nandi, Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, Bomet, Uasin Gishu, Samburu, Trans Nzoia, Turkana and West Pokot. Through the party's Secretary General, the date for the same meeting will be communicated soon.
UDA party leadership has been carrying out numerous meetings that are being aimed at popularizing DP Ruto's presidential candidature before the next general elections are held. This is will be done with a view to find a winner who will succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta once his term comes to an end.
What should remembered is that DP Ruto is currently among the top presidential candidates alongside other politicians like former Prime Minister and ODM party leader as well as his close ally Musalia Mudavadi of Amani National Congress (ANC).
