Ruto's Cabinet Secretaries have agreed to forgo a one month salary as a way of supporting Kenyans living in areas affected with the prolonged famine.

This was agreed when the Cabinet Secretaries held a meeting at State House on Tuesday, 29yh November 2022. This contribution will greatly help in contributing towards the government's interventions that support Kenyans affected with drought.
Moreover, it was cabinet secretaries shared their views on the high prices of Maize flour in our country. They said that local farmers will get a priority in access to markets for their produce.

This agreement comes after the State established a pay bill targeting well-wishers to contribute freely towards the end of death and suffering over famine in the areas.
