The 2022 presidential race have today taken a new turn after Nyeri Township Member of Parliament Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu took to his account to do a comparison of the legacy between the former Prime Minister and the Deputy President for the duration the two had been in government.
In his statement, the flamboyant leader praised the ODM leader Raila Odinga for employing and nurturing young aspiring leaders from the Mt Kenya region among them Issac Mwaura and Esther Passaris who made it to floor of the Senate and the National Assembly through the intervention of the former prime minister.
On the side of DP Ruto, he stated that the only person he has employed and nurtured from the region is blogger Dennis Itumbi who currently work as the spokesperson of the hustler nation. This according to him will form the basis of debate whether the central region will be outsiders or visitors in the government formed by Raila or Ruto.
The central region is playing the succession politics due to their high population of voters and presence of business moguls who run most of the business in the country. This is why most of the aspirants are trying their level best to win the support of region.
