The general election of 2022 is just a few days away; it will be held on August 8th. Election candidates are touring the country pleading with people to choose them as their candidate. Kenyans are eager to elect a candidate who would be able to influence the current economic situation and change in food prices.
The presidential candidates Raila Odinga of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance versus William Ruto of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition are causing major worries.
In an effort to win over the more than 5 million registered voters, both presidential hopefuls are expected to campaign in Mount Kenya this week. Both candidates have Mount Kenyan supporters on their campaigns.
The most recent polls are available, and according to a post by Kenyans, things are not looking well for Rail Odinga and his team.
Raila Odinga is only 6 percent behind Deputy President Ruto, according to Co.ke official pages.
With a vote share of about 49%, William Ruto has been named as the most popular presidential contender.
David Mwaure of the Agano party has 1.1 percent, George Wajackoyah of the Root party is running for president and has 2.8 percent, and Azimio leader is trailing the Dp by 42 percent.
