The ODM leader Raila Odinga made plain his two positions in advance of the Supreme Court's final ruling the following week.
Since 1997, the seasoned politician has been active, so Kenyans may not be surprised to see him engaged in politics before the 2027 election.
After Uhuru Kenyatta's resignation, Raila's old boss, William Ruto, put an end to his fifth bid for the presidency.
The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition's verbal battle intensified as influential members of the group were held accountable for the death of Raila, the group's leader. The ODM leader, however, charged that the IEBC and the supreme court were both biased.
When their case was rejected by the court, Raila had the audacity to call for a million people to march to the judiciary immediately.
"They won't have a choice but to go home, we can say after leading a march of a million people to the courthouse." Said Raila.
Raila could also decide to accept the situation as it is and move on. On September 5, 2022, the court said that it will issue the whole ruling in 21 days, including the grounds for rejecting the petition submitted by Azimio and six other people challenging the results of the August election.
