It's not game over for Gideon Moi in the independence Kenya National Union party ( KANU ) following a revelation from suspended secretary general Nick Salat on his next plans against his boss.
Spilling the beans on his next moves, Nick Salat told Nation Africa that he will be moving to court to stop his suspension and turn the issue into a full blown political battle.
As Gideon strives to expel Salat from the party, Salat revealed plans to remove Moi from the KANU seat of power.
According to Salat, the party has not held party elections since 2002, everyone is in acting position. Moi has allegedly changed the party constitution severally to suit his wishes.
When he goes to court, Salat will seek to lift his suspension and seek compelling orders for the party to head in elections to choose new leaders. It is through elections that Salat plans to expunge Moi from the party leadership.
He told the media that everyone within the party is on his side except a few 'yes people ' who have chosen to blindly stand with Moi. Should elections be called, Salat is confident that he will beat Moi at his own game.
