With only one year remaining to the general election several leaders have come out to make their bids for various positions here comes 2022 general election. It is anticipated to be a hottly contested election bearing in mind that there are more that four politicians that have great influence in the country and are believed to be in the race.
So far it's the deputy president William Ruto and Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua who have already declared their interest in the country top position. Others like One Kenya Alliance Party leader are expected to declare their own flag bearer soonest possible. The right honourable Raila Odinga is yet to declare his bid of vying for presidency but it is expected that he will make it very soon especially after the historic ruling on BBI issue.
Since the ruling the two proponents of the bill that Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta have not said anything and it is anticipated that they are not reading from the same scripts as said by the city lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi on his official Twitter account.The court claim that president violated the constitution give Kenyan an opportunity to prosecute him in court of law as a famous blogger Robert Alai claimed that impeachment plot on Uhuru are being done through backdoors.Ahmednasir goes claims that after the ruling the huge beneficiary was Raila Odinga and there is a high possibility that they work with Ruto if the Uhuru will be prosecuted in the court of law and form the next government. In an interview with Citizen TV Ruto said that he can work with that Raila and the possibility is very high.
