Kenya is truly an interesting country as even with Covid-19, the government of president Uhuru Kenyatta has spent 3.2 billion on foreign travel especially of state officials. It's a shocking matter given the extreme debts that Kenya is into as well the fact that lives of most Kenyans is extremely tough at this very difficult moment.
To make matters worse members of parliament and the senate come at the second position after the executive. It's clear this leaders do not have the interest of the country at heart for clearly Kenyans cannot see anything positive from this foreign trips.
Instead of the government cutting extreme costs like foreign travels, it's emerging they have made the lives of Kenyans extremely hard. When they raise fuel prices, it's only to find their trips and per diem and really not for the interest of the common citizen.
The fact of the matter is that this foreign travels have brought more pain to Kenyans than good an example being the extreme debts that has made the lives of most citizens completely difficult. However if they can spend 3.2 billion in a Covid-19 year, just ask yourself of how about a normal year. Please comment and give your thought about this painful issue.
