Former Gatanga Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Peter Kenneth, who is currently a close ally to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, has once again warned Deputy President Dr William Ruto and his allies against chest thumbing while seeking for votes ahead of 2022 general elections.
Speaking during a meeting between ODM leader Raila Odinga and delegations from Northeastern region at Garissa Town today, Kenneth who seems to indirectly referring to Deputy President Dr William Ruto and his allies while replying to the former Minister Hussein Maalim, who attacked Raila in the same meeting saying that he is not the one who brought about second liberation (that's multipartysm), Kenneth said that the DP and his allies should avoid chest thumbing ahead of 2022 main polls since they will not succeed by doing so.
"Kuna Mzee ambaye alikua ameongea hapa akasema kwamba wao ndio walileta multipartysm by repealing section 2A. Nataka kusema kwamba walifosiwa na akina Raila kurepeal hio section 2A sio kwamba walitupea tu kwa kupenda."
"Finally I want to also say, If you are looking for votes, msitafute kura kwa kujipiga vifua. Tuwaache kutafuta kura kwa kujipiga vifua, unajua kuna watu wengine (DP Ruto and his allies) ambao wanajipiga vifua wanasema they know they know which will not help us." He said.
