Presidential Results Comparison On Recent Updates Between NTV & Citizen TV As Counting Continues

The Oranbe Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga and his big rival DP William Ruto have been on a tight race as the form 34As started being uploaded on the IEBC website after tallying exercise begun immediately after the polls were conducted.

Raila's Azimio team celebrated as the ODM boss maintained an early lead. However, as time went by, the UDA leader DP Ruto caught up with him due to the overwhelmingly support of Mt. Kenya residents and his Rift Valley backyard.

The Citizen TV through their official website has since then been giving updates on a hourly basis on how the two leaders are fairing on. Reports indicate that over 96% of the form 34As have already been submitted as Kenyans wait with bathed breath for the IEBC to conclude the exercise and give an update on the winner.

According to recent reports and tallying update by NTV, the UDA boss William Ruto is leading with 2,670,127 votes amounting to 52.43%. Raila comes second with 2,389,387 votes accounting for 46.92% of the total votes counted.

However, according to Citizen TV which seems to be ahead in their tallying, Raila Odinga commands lead with 2,326,260 vote an equivalent of 51.52%. DP William Ruto trails behind with 2,161,408 accounting for 47.12% of the votes. Nevertheless, Kenyans are waiting eagerly for updates from IEBC since the Chairman Mr. Chebukati revealed that media houses are still lagging behind in their tallying.
