Video: Top UDA MP Defends Kenya Kwanza Partners, Says They Should Not Be Forced To Fold Their Parties

In an exclusive interview with a local Television channel Tv47, Gakuya opined that the party leaders should not be forced to fold their parties and join Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party especially after getting appointments in the government.

He noted that it should be the principals own decision to fold or keep their parties without being forced or without thus being the condition to stay in the Kenya Kwanza government.

"It cannot be a cardinal condition that if you are a member of Kenya Kwanza coalition you must fold your party and join UDA." The Dagoretti North MP stated.

Reports indicate that there are push to have other party leaders; Musalia Mudavadi, Alfred Mutua, Justin Muturi, Moses Wetangula, And Amason Kingi to fold their parties to join UDA. Already Moses Kuria has initiated the process of folding his party.

According to Kimilili constituency member of Parliament Hon Didmus Barasa, all appointed in government are expected to fold their parties.
