"Ulipewa kazi, Umefanya nini?" Uhuru Slams Ruto Again

The outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta has yet again taken a swipe at his deputy William Ruto with only 38 days left to the August General elections. Speaking during a function at KICC on Saturday 2 July, the Mr Uhuru Kenyatta, without mentioning the name of his target, he lashed out at his deputy for issuing uncountable promises and yet he had the opportunity to deliver as the second in command.

Mr Uhuru said the DP had over 9 years to implement most of the development promises he is selling out to the Kenyans but he failed instead.

"Nasikitika nikiona wengine huko ng'we ng'we tu. Mtu amepewa kazi, badala ya Kufanya kazi ni mdomo tu. Alafu anaanza kutuambia tutafanya. Kwa nini haukufanya ukiwa wakati ulikuwa na kazi. " Uhuru said.

Slight translation, "am sorrowful to witness some people talking out there. Someone has been given a work to do, instead of doing it he is just making empty promises. Then the same person continue saying he will do this and that. Why didn't you do that when you had the opportunity. People should stop such rubbish".

President Uhuru Kenyatta urged Kenyans to make right choices ahead of the August polls reminding them their future is in their hands.
