Wavinya Ndeti, the governor of Machakos County, has responded to online haters after receiving criticism over her attire at a public function on Tuesday.
The Governor apologized to Netizens on social media on Friday after they had teased her about her voluminous outfit. Many had questioned how the governor, who is known for her fashionable attire, came to have such an outfit.
Wavinya, who seemed to take the criticism positively, shared classy images of herself from previous occasions while casually promising not to lower her standards and become shoddy.
“Lakini nyinyi wakenya, enyewe mmeniweza. One thing I now know is that you love me for being smart. Sitadissapoint tena. Nowadays I care more about your needs. Love you guys,” she wrote on Twitter.
A picture of Wavinya addressing a crowd was featured in a post that went viral on Wednesday. Some Kenyans criticized the governor for the governor's wardrobe malfunction, while others questioned her tailor.
Here are some hilarious comments from Kenyans on Twitter (KOT).
“It seems @Wavinya_Ndeti has hired the tailor who was sacked by Riggy G,” Patrick Safari wrote.
Obaman said: “Manifesting Museveni’s Tailor.”
“Wardrobe manager on same WhatsApp group with @KagutaMuseveni's,” Doktari Sam. W CPA stated.
Agnes added: “Wavinya hio outfit yawa! Enda ukatupe na huko. We can't go on like this."
"Usinunue nguo usiku tena kwa hawkers some of them don't mean well but kama ni tailor wako then she should be fired," stated Vinnie.
